How to Create a Live Webinar Funnel in Kajabi (the Simple Way)

You've heard me talk about Kajabi before, but today, I want to get specific and talk about webinar funnels. These babies are my go-to tool for helping industry experts turn their expertise into automated income through group programs. 

The Webinar Dilemma

Let's be real — if you're killing it with one-on-one coaching but want to scale with a group program, you need a way to gather a bunch of interested people at the same time.

Welp, here's the truth: a trickle of interest won't fill your cohort. You need that big splash of registrations that only comes from a well-timed live webinar.

But the one thing to remember? Be flexible.

I've set up webinar funnels as an employee, a business owner, with kids, and without kids. And I can tell you...they work. You have my word.

5 Steps to Your First Kajabi Webinar Funnel

Step 1: Create a New Webinar Pipeline in Kajabi

TBH, this is where Kajabi struts its stuff. Hit "New Pipeline," select "Zoom Webinar," and boom — Kajabi auto-generates your entire funnel:

• Registration page
• Confirmation page
• All your email sequences

Consider your best zones here — I'm an early riser, so I tackle this creative task in the morning when my brain is most "on."

Step 2: Add Your Zoom Link to the Confirmation Page

Don't even try to play with Kajabi's built-in webinar room (unless you're feeling bougie). A simple Zoom link works perfectly:

• Copy your Zoom meeting link
• Paste it into the confirmation page
• Add details like "join 5 minutes early" to set expectations

This simple non-mechanical trick will save you so much headache later!

Step 3: Update Your Email Notifications

Quit putting all your webinar details on just the confirmation page, ok? Your email sequence is what gets people to actually show up!

Kajabi has already written these emails for you, so your job is just to:

• Drop in your Zoom link
• Make them sound like YOU (your unique voice matters!)
• Add any workbook or prep materials links

These emails will thank you for the blazing new self-confidence they bring to your registration numbers.

Step 4: Customize the Registration Page

This is probably the most thrilling part of the entire process — creating a page that makes people hit that "Register Now" button!

What your registration page needs:

• A crystal-clear headline (what transformation are you offering?)
• 3-5 benefit bullets that make your audience think, "That's exactly what I need!"
• Your photo (people want to connect with YOU)
• Date and time details (including time zones if you're serving clients globally)

If you're tormented by what to write, use this simple structure: "How to [achieve desired outcome] without [common pain point]."

Step 5: Test Everything Before You Promote

Assessment time! Before you send your funnel out into the world, take 5 minutes to:

• Register with your own email
• Check that the confirmation page loads properly
• Verify all emails arrive (and look good on mobile!)
• Click your Zoom link to ensure it works

Whatever it is for you, don't be afraid to test around that schedule!

This is where most coaches leave money on the table. The follow-up is where the real sales magic happens!

After your webinar, Kajabi lets you:

• Tag attendees vs. no-shows
• Send replay access to everyone
